become an instructor

We are always happy to meet accomplished poets, fiction writers, screenwriters, and non-fiction writers interested in leading multi-week courses, one-day seminars, and weekend workshops.

Instructors should be high-energy, inspiring and knowledgeable about the craft of writing. We also ask that you have some teaching experience with any age group and at least ONE of the following:

  1. MFA or MA in Creative Writing
  2. Publications in recognized literary journals and/or magazines

You need not have published a full-length work to be considered for an instructor position.

To apply

We are currently not actively hiring new instructors in areas other than Self-Publishing, Children's/YA Literature and Genre-writing. We are also experiencing a long delay in replying to submissions in fiction, non-fiction, poetry and screenwriting. However, to submit an application that we will keep on file and reply to as soon as possible, please send a CV, cover letter and writing sample (3 poems or 15 pages prose maximum) to:
